2026 Saehan Media Marathon

The Saehan Media Marathon returns to World Cup Park on November 29, 2026, offering runners the opportunity to experience the vibrant atmosphere and scenic beauty of Peace Plaza along the Han River. This festival-style race features three distances: a challenging half marathon, a competitive 10km run, and an accessible 5km route for all levels of participants.
The event kicks off with an opening ceremony at 7:30 AM, followed by the start of races at 8:00 AM sharp. Runners will be greeted with stunning views as they traverse through World Cup Park's lush greenery and along the riverbank paths that wind around Peace Plaza. Each distance offers a unique challenge and experience, catering to both seasoned athletes and beginners.
Entry fees for the half marathon and 10km events are KRW 50,000 per participant, while those opting for the shorter 5km course pay KRW 45,000. A total of 4,000 runners will be accommodated this year, ensuring a manageable yet festive environment.
Participants in all races receive race bibs and timing chips (except for the 5km run), as well as finisher medals upon completion. Additionally, every runner is entitled to online finish photos and an official digital certificate commemorating their achievement. Water stations are strategically placed along each course to keep runners hydrated throughout the event.
To encourage group participation, a special discount of 10% applies when registering in groups for any distance. Event insurance provides peace of mind for all participants, ensuring they are covered during this memorable day at World Cup Park.
