2026 Salomon Junzhang Ancient Path Mountains and Rivers Walk Race (2026 SALOMON军嶂古道山川行)

On December 20, 2026, runners will gather at the Yue Taihu Junzhang Ancient Path Tourism Service Center in Binhu District, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province for the Salomon-sponsored "Junzhang Gudao Shanchuan Run." This event offers two distance options: a challenging 25KM route and a more accessible 15KM course. Both races start early on a crisp morning with participants setting off at 9:00 AM for the longer trek and 9:15 AM for those choosing the shorter option.
The 25KM race, featuring an elevation gain of 1,181 meters over its seven-hour window, winds through ancient paths that wind around snow-capped mountains like Longwang Mountain and Xuelangshan. As runners progress along this historic route, they'll encounter breathtaking views across Taihu Lake from various vantage points atop hills and ridges. The trail itself is a tapestry of centuries-old stone steps covered in autumn leaves, each step echoing the footsteps of those who have trodden here before.
For the 15KM race with an elevation gain of 689 meters over four hours, participants will enjoy similar scenic delights but on a slightly shorter and less strenuous course.
