2026 Shipwrecked Falmouth in the Fall - Volunteer

About the Event

Falmouth in the Fall is gearing up to welcome runners on November 1, 2026. This scenic race takes place along picturesque coastal paths and quiet country roads of Falmouth, offering participants stunning fall foliage views and a challenging yet rewarding course. The event features both competitive racing options for elite athletes as well as more relaxed routes designed for recreational runners to enjoy the beautiful surroundings at their own pace.
Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring that the race runs smoothly from start to finish. If you're interested in contributing, sign up before September 30, 2026. A Volunteer Information Session will be held via Zoom on October 28, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, where volunteers can learn more about their roles and meet the team.

Falmouth is a town on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. The population was 32,517 at the 2020 census, making Falmouth the second-largest municipality on Cape Cod after Barnstable. The terminal for the Steamship Authority ferries to Martha's Vineyard is located in the village of Woods Hole in Falmouth. Woods Hole also contains several scientific organizations such as the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL), the Woodwell Climate Research Center, NOAA's Woods Hole Science Aquarium, and the scientific institutions' various museums.
