2026 Southtown River Run [10k]

Start your year off on the right foot and join us for a chill 10k along the San Antonio River. We’ll have everything you need to fight those excuses and get moving: DISTANCE (10k effort!), COFFEE, HYDRATION, MUSIC, PRIZES, and SMOOTHIES! There will also be space to connect and hear inspirational stories from people who have pushed through trials to accomplish their goals, so we can motivate each other and set the tone for 2026. 

Joining a group run goes beyond how fast and how far you go – it's about showing up and being encouraged by the people who have chosen to be a runner that day. For some of us, getting up early on a cold morning will be the challenge, and for others, it’ll be going the 10K distance. In either case, embrace the challenge and let's make some fun of it!

• REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED DUE TO LIMITED CAPACITY
• Location: San Antonio Mennonite Church - downtown near Brackenridge High School.
• Parking: Available to the right of the church and street parking.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Cost & Donations: This cost of the run goes to the church operations and some of the snacks and drinks that will be available. Aside from prizes everyone will have a chance to win, we are limiting the cost usually associated with runs. Any additional money you donate goes directly to the church as they are providing the space for us. Give joyfully!
• Race Bibs: There will not be race bibs. We encourage runners to track with their watch or phone using a number of different apps. Our recommendation is Strava.
• Prizes:
  • No medals, but top finishers get our ultimate runners pack. 
  • Both RUNNERS and GUESTS will have chances to win prizes!
• Rain check: In the event of one of those crazy Texas cold fronts, we may push the date of the race to a later date. If the weather is cold, that is to be expected and the run will go on. Inside the church will be nice and cozy for you.
