2026 STRS #2 B&B Bolt

Breckenridge, Colorado. Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The Summit Trail Running Series continues with Race #2 — the B&B Bolt, presented by Gravity Haus. Long course: 13.5K (5:30 PM start). Short course: 5.4K (5:35 PM start). Staged at the B&B Trailhead. After‑race awards and party at Gravity Haus / Cabin Juice (605 S Park Ave, Breckenridge). Limited parking at B&B Trailhead — carpool or park at Sallie Barber Trailhead, Little Red SchoolHouse, or Wellington Bike Park. Operated under USDA Forest Service special use permit — White River National Forest.

Location — B&B Trailhead, Breckenridge, CO:

• The B&B Trailhead is located off French Gulch Road, east of downtown Breckenridge
• Trail system: French Gulch, B&B Trail, Colorado Trail, and other Summit County classics
• Terrain: singletrack, moderate climbs, aspen and pine forests, high‑alpine meadows
• Elevation: approximately 9,600‑10,500 ft — classic Colorado high‑country running

Course Details (Approximate):

• 13.5K long course — likely includes a loop on the B&B Trail, connecting to the Colorado Trail or French Gulch trails, with significant elevation gain (500‑800 ft)
• 5.4K short course — shorter loop, less elevation gain, suitable for beginners and younger runners
• Course maps available on Breckenridge Recreation website (linked on event page)
• Marked course with volunteers at key turns

Schedule (Wednesday, June 17, 2026):

• 4:00 PM — Bib pickup opens at B&B Trailhead
• 5:30 PM — Long course start (13.5K)
• 5:35 PM — Short course start (5.4K)
• Following the race — awards and after‑party at Gravity Haus / Cabin Juice (605 S Park Ave, Breckenridge)

What's Included:

• Chip timing (finisher times posted online)
• Course markings and volunteer course marshals
• Aid station on course (water, possibly electrolyte)
• Post‑race refreshments at Gravity Haus
• Series points for those registered in the full STRS series (5 races)
• Awards for top finishers (overall and age groups)

Parking & Logistics:

• Limited parking at B&B Trailhead — do NOT park on French Gulch Road
• Alternative parking: Sallie Barber Trailhead, Little Red SchoolHouse, or Wellington Bike Park (then walk or bike to start)
• Carpooling strongly recommended
• Same‑day registration available at B&B Trailhead (cash, check, credit card accepted) starting at 4:00 PM
• No dogs allowed on the course (Forest Service regulations and safety)
• No refunds — race director reserves right to delay or cancel for weather/trail conditions

Post‑Race Awards & After‑Party — Gravity Haus:

• Parking recommended in F Lot (free parking area near the recreation center)
• Podium awards will be presented shortly after top 3 finishers in each category are finalized
• After‑party includes food, drinks, and socializing with fellow runners
