The 2026 TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS stands as one of the most prestigious events on the Abbott World Marathon Major circuit. This marathon, spanning an exhilarating 42.2 kilometers, offers participants an unforgettable experience amidst the vibrant cityscape of Sydney.
Applicants must submit their ballot application to secure a place in this iconic race. Upon submission, personal details including credit card information are required for payment processing. Should your application be successful and the payment be successfully processed, you will have secured your spot on the start line. However, if there is any issue with payment processing, your entry may not proceed.
For those who do not secure a direct ballot entry, alternative pathways to participate in this event through Domestic or International Charity Programs are available. Participants can opt-in during the registration process for more information about these options.
All applicants will first receive an Application Confirmation email (this does not guarantee final selection). Successful entrants will be officially welcomed with their Event Confirmation on 29 October, marking your place among thousands of runners who have chosen to challenge themselves in this legendary race.
