About the Event

Experience the breathtaking landscapes of south Taylor County at the exhilarating Tour de Gap – celebrating its 43rd edition this year! This picturesque cycling festival invites riders through rolling hills surrounding Buffalo Gap, TX. The scenic route offers diverse terrain perfect for both seasoned cyclists and newcomers alike.
Three exciting race distances are available on Saturday: a challenging 100K (62.5 miles), an inspiring 50K (31 miles), and the family-friendly 11-mile ride. Each distance promises its unique charm, ensuring a memorable experience for all participants.
Upon completing your chosen course, celebrate with a swag raffle where you could win exciting prizes! For those looking to push their limits in the longer distances, top three finishers within each age category will be honored with awards. Young riders under 14 can join at no extra cost when accompanied by an adult registering for either the 11-mile or 50K distance.
This year marks a special change: e-bikes are now officially welcomed! However, it’s important to note that while you’re free to participate in any of our categories with your electric bike, there will be no awards given out in the 50K and 100K categories for those on e-bikes.
