2026 USA Cycling Regional Development Camp and Education Summit
About the Event
The USA Cycling Regional Development Camp and Education Summit is set to take place from August 7–8, 2026, at Thaden School located at 800 SE C Street in Bentonville, Arkansas. This two-day intensive program caters exclusively to junior athletes aged between 13 and 18 years who are passionate about cross-country mountain biking, cyclocross, or mountain bike gravity disciplines. Participants will have the opportunity to focus their training on one of these three exciting disciplines throughout the camp. Each discipline offers targeted on-bike sessions with specialized coaching tailored to enhance skills specific to that style of riding. For those interested in mountain bike gravity, select training sessions will be available at the newly opened OZ Trails bike park. The event is open to both athletes and their parents or guardians; up to two adults per athlete can attend for free with each registration. Additionally, coaches from all over are welcome—though participation in the Level 2 Certification course is limited to those who hold a Level 3 certification. The Level 2 Certification course spans across Saturday and Sunday. New commissaires will also find this summit an invaluable learning experience as they participate alongside seasoned professionals. The camp kicks off at 7:15 AM on both days, with drop-off for athletes starting from 8:00 AM until the official start of activities. The daily schedule runs smoothly from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a full day of engaging sessions and training. Parents or guardians are required to sign out their minors at the end of each day. While meals during the event will be provided as part of the conference offerings, participants should prepare for their own lodging accommodations and transportation needs outside these scheduled services. This is an excellent opportunity for young athletes to sharpen their skills, network with peers, and receive expert guidance from top coaches in a supportive environment designed specifically for their age group.
