Welcome to the MMJ Wollongong Aquathlon on Tuesday, January 26, 2027. This exciting event offers participants of all ages and skill levels an opportunity to experience the thrill of combining swimming with running along the beautiful coastline of Wollongong. The entry fees for this race include everything necessary: your participation fee, a one-day licence (ODL) set by Triathlon Australia (TA), and processing fees. For kids participating in the Aquathon events, there is no ODL charge, while Mini-Short-Long participants pay $4.50 per team. Fun runners are charged just $2 for their entry. The event features a variety of distances tailored to different age groups: Aquathlon Events: - Kids Aquathon: This category offers young athletes the chance to participate in an engaging and fun race, with no ODL fee. - Mini-Short-Long: For those looking to challenge themselves over slightly longer distances, this event includes a swim followed by a run. The entry fee is $4.50 per team. Family Discounts: For families entering together, there's an additional discount available when signing up for the Aquathon events (excluding fun runs). By utilizing code AQUAFAM27 at checkout, you can enjoy 12% off combined entry fees with a maximum of two adults and one or more children under 18. Aquathlon Relay Teams: Participants have the option to form relay teams consisting of one swimmer and one runner. This team format allows for collaborative efforts while experiencing the race's scenic routes together. Select "Aquathlon 2 person team." 2. Fill out your details as prompted. 3. Create a unique TEAM NAME and select an age division/category from the list. 4. Choose whether you are swimming or running for the first member. To add additional members, simply click 'Add another registrant' at the bottom of the screen to enter their information. Remember, teams only need one fee per team and just one ODL license is required regardless of how many participants there are in a relay setup.
