This series offers five races across diverse regions—North, West, East, South, and a grand finale at Big Texas Ultra in November. Each race provides a unique running adventure with varying distances that cater to different skill levels. The Lil Tex Pass covers 5K to 17K events, while the Mid Tex Pass stretches runners from 15K to 35K. For those who are ready for longer distances, the Ultra Texas and Big Texas passes offer challenges of 50K and beyond. The series begins in February with North Texas Ultra at Fort Richardson State Park, known for its picturesque trails through forests and hills. In April, West Texas Ultra takes runners to Lake Meredith National Recreation Area, where they can enjoy breathtaking views of the vast desert landscape. May’s East Texas Ultra in Mineola Nature Preserve offers a serene setting amidst lush greenery and wildlife. The South Texas Ultra on October 9th challenges runners at H.W. Lewis Ranch with its varied terrain, while November's Big Texas Ultra at Lake Georgetown brings together all participants for an epic finish under the Lone Star sky. A standout feature of this series is the Round' Up Tex pass, which allows you to build up gradually towards your first ultra marathon experience at the Big Texas Ultra in November. Completing all five events will earn you a set of medals that fit together to form the iconic Lone Star symbol of Texas—a perfect memento for any runner.
