Welcome to the 21st edition of the Stienitzsee Open - Artström Run, an enchanting race that weaves through the serene beauty of Hennickendorf's wild forest and pristine lake. On September 12, 2026, runners will gather at Festplatz/Sportplatz in Ringstraße for a day filled with scenic routes, creative installations, and family-friendly activities.
The Artström Run offers two main categories: the competitive 11 km run and Nordic Walking/Power Walking/Walking event. Both start at 11:00 am from the picturesque Festplatz. The track winds through lush forests dotted with captivating art installations that add a unique twist to this year’s race, transforming it into an immersive experience for all participants.
For those looking to enjoy the lake's charm without long distances, there is also the Artström Family Run at 11:15 am, which includes a delightful boat ride along Stienitzsee. This shorter course, approximately 2.1 km, invites runners of all ages and ensures that even young children can partake in the fun.
The Bambini - Lauf offers an additional free event for kids under 14 years old starting at 11:30 am on the sports field near Festplatz/Sportplatz. This allows younger participants to experience the excitement without the pressure of a timed race, fostering a love for running and outdoor activities from a young age.
Participants can register online up until September 7, 2026, with payment options including direct debit, bank transfer, PayPal or credit card. Late registrations are possible on event day between 9:30 am to 10:30 am if space permits, though an additional late registration fee of €5 applies.
