22. Aschaffenburger Stadtlauf SEFRA rennt - gegen Gewalt
About the Event
On July 5, 2026, the streets of Luitpoldstrasse will come alive with the energy and enthusiasm of young runners as they take part in an engaging race designed for students across various age groups. The event starts at Luitpoldstrasse 9 and concludes near Schloßplatz after a scenic route through this charming neighborhood. For younger participants aged six to nine years, the course offers a manageable two-kilometer loop that captures their attention with its compact layout. This distance allows young runners to experience the thrill of racing in a supportive environment tailored specifically for them. Moving up to ages ten to twelve, the challenge increases slightly with four kilometers over two loops, providing more seasoned junior racers an opportunity to showcase their skills and endurance on this extended route. Teenagers aged thirteen to fifteen will tackle six kilometers by completing three laps around the same circuit, testing their stamina as they navigate through familiar streets. This distance is carefully designed to be both challenging yet achievable for early teenage athletes who are eager to prove themselves in longer races. For older teenagers between sixteen and eighteen years old, the race remains at a six-kilometer mark but continues to challenge them with three laps around the course. As these young adults approach adulthood, this event serves as an important stepping stone towards more competitive running events ahead. Adult participants of all ages are also welcome in the six-kilometer category, which includes both women and men who can push their limits while enjoying a race that is well-suited for runners looking to maintain or improve their fitness levels. The route offers opportunities for personal bests as competitors make three laps around this dynamic course. The event promises an exciting atmosphere with each age group experiencing the thrill of racing through Luitpoldstrasse, culminating in cheers from spectators gathered near Schloßplatz at the finish line. This race is not only about reaching a destination but also celebrating growth and achievement among runners of all ages.
