### The Format
Backyard Ultra is straightforward yet challenging: runners complete a 4.167-mile loop every hour, starting precisely at 9:00 PM on the day of the race. Each lap must be completed within an hour to remain eligible for the next round. This format ensures that only one runner will ultimately emerge as the Last Person Standing.

Bedgebury National Pinetum & Forest is more than just a trail running venue; it's a sanctuary of wide, runnable trails and rolling forest terrain. Nestled in Kent, this location offers an ideal setting for runners to test their limits against both nature and time. With its extensive network of gravel tracks and scenic views, Bedgebury provides the perfect backdrop for one of the most anticipated events of the series.
### The Course

### Entry Info
With a cap of 250 runners, this event is open to anyone aged 16 and older. Registration includes interest-free payment plans with no booking or admin fees. Every runner starts on an equal footing, regardless of their goals—whether aiming for the first Backyard Ultra experience, attempting to reach 100 miles, or striving for a series record.
### Medals & Buckles

- Kent Backyard Ultra Medal: Awarded to anyone who completes at least one yard.
- Bronze Buckle: Given to runners who complete 24 yards (or 100 miles).
- Silver Buckle: Presented to the runner who assists another participant when needed.

- Black Buckle: Awarded to the overall leader across all series events.
