Runners and running enthusiasts are cordially invited to the 25th annual Benther-Berg-Laufen on Friday, October 3, 2026, coinciding with German Unity Day. This beloved race offers participants a chance to explore the scenic countryside around Benthe in Lower Saxony. The event features several distances catering to all levels of runners and walkers: - A challenging 21.8 km (Half Marathon) starting at 10:00 AM - The main event, a 10 km run, commencing shortly after with the start time set for 10:30 AM - A leisurely 10 km walk also beginning at 10:30 AM - For younger participants aged up to U16, there's an exciting 3.6 km introductory race starting at 10:40 AM - Children under the age of ten can take part in a fun-filled 1800 m kids' run, kicking off at 10:10 AM - The smallest racers, aged up to seven years old, will enjoy the 550 m Bambini race starting early at 9:40 AM Participants can collect their start numbers and timing transponders from the VSV Benthe gymnasium located on Am Hammfeld 22 in Ronnenberg (Benthe) beginning at 8:30 AM. Entry fees are as follows: - Adults: €10 - Introduction race for adults: €8 - Children and youth up to U18: €6 - Kids' run: €3 - Bambini race: €3 Online registration closes on October 2, 2026 at 3 PM. Late entries are possible until 45 minutes before the start of each event with an additional fee of €5 (€2 for kids and bambinis). Start numbers will be issued as SEPA direct debits upon online sign-up; cash payments can only be made on race day, excluding late entry fees. Groups registering five or more members may qualify for a discount. The road "Am Hammfeld" will be closed to traffic and access will only be possible from the rear.
