The 24th edition of the Bad Ischler RE/MAX KAISERLAUF, scheduled for Sunday, September 28th, 2025, promises an exhilarating day filled with running and community spirit. Participants can pick up their bibs between 7 am and 8:30 am at the Kurpark pavilion for the children's run as well as from 8:30 to 10 am for the half marathon, fun run, and business run. Bib distribution will also be available on Saturday, September 22nd, from 3 pm to 6 pm. For local residents in Bad Ischl who were born before 2010, there's a special offer: use voucher code 4820 for free entry into the mini and children’s run. The day kicks off with the Mini- and Children's Run at 9 am, followed by an award ceremony around 10:15 am. The half marathon, fun run, and Bad Ischl Original Business Run are set to start promptly at 11 am. Participants can expect a scenic route through picturesque landscapes of Salzkammergut. The day concludes with the finish line closing at 2 pm, followed by award ceremonies for each event category starting around that time. A special highlight is the chance to win prizes in Bad Ischl's "Lauf-Kaiserpaar" competition powered by Bad Ischl Original, if you complete all three events this year. About Bad Ischl

Bad Ischl is a spa town in Austria. It lies in the southern part of Upper Austria, at the river Traun in the centre of the Salzkammergut region. The town consists of the Katastralgemeinden Ahorn, Bad Ischl, Haiden, Jainzen, Kaltenbach, Lauffen, Lindau, Pfandl, Perneck, Reiterndorf and Rettenbach. It is connected to the village of Strobl by the river Ischl, which drains from the Wolfgangsee, and to the Traunsee, into which the stream empties. It is home to the Kaiservilla, summer residence of Austro-Hungarian monarchs Emperor Franz Joseph I and Empress Elisabeth. In 2024, Bad Ischl was one of the European Capitals of Culture – the third city in Austria after Graz (2003) and Linz (2009).
