The Oyler Sports Grounds is set to host an exciting race series that caters to runners and walkers of all levels. The shorter events include 400m and 800m sprints on the lush green grass of the sports grounds, offering a quick burst of speed for sprint enthusiasts.
For those looking for more distance, there's a scenic 5km route through Oyler Mountain’s forest trails, featuring paved sections as well as challenging unpaved paths with several inclines. The course is designed to be completed twice for runners aiming to tackle the 10km option.
All participants in events longer than 400m and 800m will receive a certificate at the awards ceremony around 6 PM, celebrating their achievements alongside fellow competitors.
The race day atmosphere promises a vibrant community spirit with an awards presentation held immediately after the races on Oyler Sports Grounds. Post-race amenities include changing rooms and showers available at JG Oyle Clubhouse near the sports grounds for all participants to use.
Late entries are accepted up until one hour before the start of each race, but only on-site registration is possible with an additional fee of €3 per entry. Participants should note that JG Oyle does not take responsibility for any accidents, thefts, or other damages during the event.
