28. Berglauf Ovenhausen

The Mountain Run, scheduled for Friday, August 7, 2026, invites participants to experience the scenic beauty and challenging terrain of Ovenhausen near Höxter. However, runners are advised that starting from July 30, a bridge just before reaching Ovenhausen will be closed off due to maintenance work. Those arriving from Marimünster should park either left on the road leading up or right at the shooting house along the gravel path.
The race begins and ends at Sportplatz Ovenhausen located at Hauptstraße 86 in 37671 Höxter Kapenberg Ovenhausen, offering a picturesque route through the surrounding landscape. Participants can enjoy the stunning views as they navigate their way across varied terrain for approximately one kilometer before crossing the finish line.
For those who wish to extend their experience after finishing the race, there is an opportunity to retrace your steps or take advantage of shuttle transportation back to Sportplatz Ovenhausen from 19:30 onwards. The event is designed with flexibility in mind, allowing runners to tailor their day according to personal preference and energy levels.
Online registration opens on June 1, 2026, at midnight and remains available until August 7, 2026, up until 3:00 PM (local time). On-site registrations will be accepted for the first half-hour before each race start. Payment can either be made via direct debit during online registration or cash on the day of the event.
After the races conclude, results will be posted at the venue and also available online through https://my.raceresult.com/224851/. The competition adheres to rules set by the Deutsche Langstrecken Organisation (DLO) ensuring fair play for all participants. No matter what weather conditions arise on race day, this event promises an engaging experience.
Team affiliations are not required to participate in this exciting mountain run. Please be aware that organizers do not assume responsibility for theft or other damages during the event. By registering, you agree to allow TuS Ovenhausen 1924 e.V. to use photos and video footage captured during the race for promotional purposes.
