About the Event

A long-running marathon event, held since 2016, that starts from Horikiri Waterside Park and uses a flat 5km loop along the Arakawa riverbank. The gentle course makes it a comfortable choice for first-time marathon entrants.
Events include a 700m run for small children, a 2km parent-and-child pair race and 2km mini marathon, 5km, 10km and half marathon races, plus a half-distance relay for families and friends. Costumed runners are welcome, with a grand prize and honorable mentions for the best outfits. Group entries from workplaces or friends are possible through the organizers' office.
