Dunn's Run presented by JM Family Enterprises Deerfield Beach Florida United States January 10, 2027 - Kick off the New Year with a fresh start at the 30th Annual Dunn’s Run in Deerfield Beach, Florida. This race, one of the largest fields in the Tri-County, will see over two thousand runners and walkers gather to celebrate healthy strides and community spirit on Sunday, January 10, 2027. The event benefits Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, making it a day filled with fun for everyone regardless of ability.
On race day, expect the sun to be shining bright at around midday, casting light over Deerfield Beach's picturesque Main Beach Parking Lot where runners will start their journey under clear skies and mild temperatures. The landscape is marked by firm and slightly soft trail conditions, perfect for both seasoned athletes and beginners alike. The community buzzes with energy as locals and visitors come together to cheer on participants.
Since 1997, Dunn’s Run has been a tradition that brings the Deerfield Beach community closer while raising funds for local youth programs. With over two thousand runners expected this year, it's clear why this event matters so much both locally and regionally.
Course terrain will offer a mix of firm and slightly soft surfaces, with the 5K run starting from Ocean Way & SE 2nd Street Deerfield Beach Main Beach Parking Lot. The route features gentle undulations that make for an enjoyable yet challenging experience. Expect to see elevation changes and strategic aid stations along the way.
Start/finish will be at the same location, ensuring a convenient experience for all participants. Special features include water stops every two miles to keep runners hydrated throughout the race. As for weather conditions on January 10th, expect an average temperature of around 19.9°C with minimal rainfall and plenty of sunshine. Runners should prepare themselves by wearing layers as temperatures can fluctuate.
