2nd Seongnam YMCA Marathon 2026

On Saturday, October 31, 2026, the Seongnam YMCA will host its second annual marathon at Mulbit Garden and Ori Park along the picturesque Tancheon River in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. The event features a scenic 5K Fun Run starting at 9:10 a.m., followed by a competitive 10K Race beginning promptly at 9:00 a.m.
Participants will enjoy running through lush green spaces and alongside the tranquil Tancheon River, offering breathtaking views of Seongnam's natural beauty. The race routes are carefully designed to showcase both the urban charm and serene landscapes that define this vibrant city.
Registration for the event opens on September 14 at 10:00 a.m., with entries available until October 6 at 6:00 p.m. Participants can sign up online, but spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and may fill up before the deadline. Once registered, entrants must pay their fees within five days to secure their spot; all payments made after this period are non-refundable.
The entry fee for the 5K Fun Run is KRW 30,000, while the 10K Race costs KRW 40,000. Confirmation of registration will be sent out on October 8 to those who have successfully paid their fees by the deadline.
Children under 14 years old are welcome to participate with a guardian's consent and must run alongside an adult during the race for safety reasons. All finishers will receive commemorative medals, while families can also look forward to special awards and prize draws on-site after completing the event.
Runners from outside Seongnam are encouraged to join in this community-driven celebration of health and wellness. The race day promises a festive atmosphere with plenty of support along the course for participants at all levels.
