Runners of all ages and abilities are invited to the Bambinilauf, an exciting race calendar event that promises something unique for everyone. The day kicks off at 9:30 AM with the Bambinilauf, a short but spirited run covering approximately 400 meters designed especially for young children.
Shortly after, at 9:45 AM and 9:55 AM respectively, two Schülerlaufs take place, each spanning around 800 meters. These events are tailored to slightly older students who will enjoy the challenge of a longer distance while still maintaining an atmosphere that is fun and engaging for all participants.
At 10:20 AM, both the Hobby- und Jugendlauf (about 4 km) and walking options (either 4 km or 7.5 km) begin simultaneously. This gives older children, teenagers, adults, and those preferring a leisurely pace plenty of opportunities to participate in their preferred category.
The race day is well-equipped with amenities such as clearly marked restroom facilities on-site, changing rooms available within the school premises, and hydration stations along both routes. Participants can also look forward to refreshments provided throughout the event area and at the finish line to ensure everyone stays energized during their run or walk.
After all races conclude around noon, a ceremony will be held where awards are presented to the winners in various categories. Additionally, certificates of participation can easily be printed online for those who wish to commemorate their achievement digitally.
With its diverse range of distances and activities catering to different age groups and skill levels, this event is not just about competition but also fostering community spirit among runners and spectators alike.
