34th Annual Missouri River Festival of the Arts Bike Tour
About the Event
Boonville's Festival Ride celebrates its 34th year as part of the Missouri River Festival of the Arts, organized by the dedicated Friends of Historic Boonville. This scenic ride offers three distinct routes to accommodate all levels of cyclists. The main route is a breathtaking 42-mile journey known as the Wooldridge Route, marked clearly for participants. Cyclists will start and finish at Thespian Hall in downtown Boonville, surrounded by historic charm. As you pedal through picturesque landscapes, you'll pass through Prairie Home before heading to Wooldridge or opting for an additional challenge with a loop to Lupus, adding 10 miles of steep hills but offering spectacular views. For those not quite ready for the full distance, there’s also a 22-mile route available. This shorter option allows cyclists to join the main group initially and then turn back at approximately mile 11 after experiencing some of the best scenic routes Missouri has to offer. The ride is well-supported with rest stops along the way and support vehicles ensuring safety and comfort throughout your journey. Upon completion, enjoy a refreshing treat—free ice cream awaits on Thespian Hall’s steps!
