3ª CORRIDA CATEDRAL METROPOLITANA DE CAMPINAS

On December 6, 2026, the vibrant city of Campinas will host the third edition of the Cathedral Run and Walk. This year's race is set to be an entirely reimagined experience that promises to captivate runners and walkers alike with its blend of history, sport, and community spirit.
The event kicks off at 7:00 AM from in front of the majestic Metropolitan Cathedral on Praça José Bonifácio, offering participants a scenic start amidst the heart of Campinas's historic center. The race routes are meticulously designed to cater to various skill levels with options for both runners (10km and 5km) and walkers (a leisurely 5km route). Each participant will enjoy a morning filled with exercise, camaraderie, and personal challenge.
The atmosphere is expected to be electric as athletes of all ages gather early at 6:00 AM for the pre-race festivities. A dynamic warm-up session led by fitness experts precedes the official start. After crossing the finish line, runners can look forward to a well-earned medal and, for top competitors in each category, trophies will be awarded during an awards ceremony starting around 9:30 AM.
The Cathedral Run and Walk offers two kit options: the full athlete package (shirt, backpack, race bib with chip timing) priced at R$129.90 for general admission and R$89.90 for those aged 60+, or a partial entry which includes just the bib and medal for R$99.90 and R$59.90 respectively.
This event is not to be missed by anyone looking to immerse themselves in Campinas's rich cultural heritage while celebrating health, fitness, and community unity on this special morning.
