The RURban Noz Trail returns for its third edition, offering runners two exciting courses: 5 kilometers and 10 kilometers through the charming town of Daoulas. This year’s event builds on last January's success with a few twists. Runners will navigate familiar landmarks like the abbey and mairie but also explore new areas that promise to be both surprising and challenging. The terrain features steep climbs, including Keranglien Col at 87 meters above sea level, which can present an entirely different challenge depending on its north face approach. The event highlights Daoulas' historic paths and trails with a total elevation gain of 127 meters per lap for the shorter course (254 meters over 10 kilometers). Participants will start and finish at Place du Valy in Daoulas, where they can enjoy soups or hot drinks after crossing the line. The event is open to runners as well as those who prefer a leisurely walk; walkers are invited to join for one lap of the circuit between 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM. Registration costs €6 and can be completed via Klikego or on-site from 3:30 PM. A special RURban Kids event offers two courses designed specifically for young runners born in 2015 to 2020, with registrations costing just €2 through the same platforms or at the venue. The kids' races begin at 4:30 PM and 4:45 PM respectively. Bib collection is available at Super U Daoulas on Saturday from 10 AM to noon and again from 1:30 PM to 3 PM, with additional pick-up times near the start line until race time. The Loperhethon organizes this event in collaboration with Ribines Logonna, ensuring that all proceeds benefit AFM Téléthon. The evening races begin at 6 PM for the shorter distance and move on to a more extended run starting at 7:15 PM. With up to 350 participants per race (up to 700 total), this event offers an intimate yet vibrant atmosphere, perfect for both seasoned runners and newcomers alike. Participants must bring their own headlamps due to the evening start times, enhancing safety as well as adding a unique element of adventure to the experience.
