Welcome to the fourth edition of the Wild & Run, an exhilarating race that caters to runners of all levels and experience backgrounds. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting out, there's something for everyone at this unique event. The course takes participants through stunning natural landscapes, offering breathtaking views and challenging terrain that will test your physical limits. The route is designed to be both scenic and demanding, with varying elevations and terrains that provide an engaging experience for runners of all ages. For those interested in customizing their race day outfit, the event offers a chance to purchase Wild & Run T-shirts until July 8, 2026, at just €15. These shirts are available in men’s, women's, and children’s sizes, making it easy for everyone to join in on the fun. Registration closes on July 15, 2026, but late entries can be made online until July 21, 2026, or at the event itself up until one hour before each race start. A fee of €3 applies for late registrations (except for children's races). The Wild & Run features several categories to suit different age groups and abilities: - Minicross: For young runners born in 2019 and younger, with a distance of 400 meters. - Stadioncross: A slightly longer course at 800 meters for those aged between 2015 and 2018 (U10 + U12). - Trailcross: For more experienced young runners born in 2011 to 2014, covering a distance of 1.6 kilometers.
The main event is the Wild & Run itself, which covers two laps around an approximately 7-kilometer loop for those aged ten and above (born in or before 2010). This challenging course totals about 14.5 kilometers. Additionally, there's a shorter option of one lap at roughly 7.4 kilometers for runners who prefer a less demanding distance but still want to enjoy the race day atmosphere. The event also includes Nordic Walking options on both distances, providing an alternative challenge that combines walking with pole techniques for those interested in this form of exercise.
