40th Anniversary Uchinoura Galaxy Marathon (第40回記念 うちのうら銀河マラソン)

About the Event

The race marks the founding anniversary of the Galactic Federation's Uchinoura Kimotsuki Republic, and this year is the 40th edition, supported by the goodwill of many runners from inside and outside the prefecture. Courses take their names from the sky: the 1.2K Sun Course, 3K Jupiter Course, 5K Comet Course and 10K Galaxy Course. They run through the town streets and along the sunlit coastline of Uchinoura in Kimotsuki, described as the town closest to space. Race day also includes a prize raffle and a Kimotsuki town products fair.
