Nestled at the foot of majestic Mount Zao, the 40th anniversary of this iconic race invites runners to experience one of Japan's most challenging and scenic courses. The route is renowned for its dramatic elevation changes, with a maximum climb of up to 100 meters that tests even the fittest athletes.
This year’s event promises an extra special highlight as running influencer Miki Shimura joins the fun in the 5km category. Her presence adds an exciting element and inspiration for all participants, making it a memorable day on the race calendar.
Entry fees vary based on age group: general admission is ¥4,500; high school students pay ¥2,000; elementary and middle school runners are charged ¥1,500. For those who prefer to jog or walk, there's also an option for a more relaxed pace with fees of ¥1,500 for elementary and junior high school participants, ¥2,000 for high schoolers, and ¥3,000 for adults.
