Experience the enchanting city of Venice, known as "the water capital," by running through its historic streets and iconic landmarks. This year marks the 40th anniversary of this prestigious IAAF Label Road Race. The highlight for participants is crossing over floating bridges that span the Grand Canal during race day—a unique privilege reserved only for runners. The event offers a variety of distances, including a full marathon, half-marathon, and a 10km run, each providing a distinctive perspective on Venice's breathtaking beauty and rich architectural heritage. Early bird registration ends on January 10th with discounted rates: the full marathon costs ¥16,000, the half-marathon is priced at ¥12,000, and the 10km race is ¥8,000. Second-tier entry closes on June 30th with prices increasing to ¥19,000 for the full marathon, ¥14,000 for the half-marathon, and ¥9,000 for the 10km run. Final registration ends September 30th at ¥22,000 for the full marathon, ¥16,000 for the half-marathon, and ¥10,000 for the shorter distance. Runners will traverse a course that winds through narrow alleyways lined with centuries-old buildings, offering glimpses of iconic sites like St. Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge. The atmosphere is electric as participants navigate this historic setting while immersing themselves in Venice’s vibrant culture. The event not only celebrates athletic achievement but also showcases the unparalleled charm and history that make Venice a unique destination for runners from around the world.
