In October of 1984, the streets of Castellón welcomed the inaugural Half Marathon of Castellón. Little did anyone know then that this race would grow to become an emblematic event and today stands as the oldest running competition in Castellón province. The Unió Atlètica de Castelló (UAC) has been instrumental in ensuring its continuity year after year, leading up to its 42nd edition on January 31, 2027.
Since Isabel Fuster and Luis Adsuara claimed the victory in that first race, numerous athletes have taken part in this Half Marathon through Castellón's historic streets. Their participation has been crucial for maintaining the event’s legacy and spirit, culminating in a record-breaking edition in 2026.
