45. Sparkassen Silvesterlauf 2026 - Kinderläufe

The Sparkassen Silvesterlauf 2026 is set to welcome young runners with its special children's races, designed for kids of all ages and abilities. The race takes place on the festive night of New Year’s Eve, winding through Werl along the Schützenstraße from Stadthalle Werl.
The event features four different categories tailored specifically for various age groups:
- Bambini (Jg. 2021 & younger): A fun run covering approximately 400 meters.
- SchülerInnen U8 (born in 2019 and 2020): An 800-meter race for slightly older children.
- SchülerInnen U10 (born in 2017 and 2018): Another 800-meter race aimed at the next age bracket of young athletes.
- SchülerInnen U12/U14/U16 (born between 2011 and 2016): A longer, more challenging run spanning about 1.2 kilometers.
Parents are encouraged to join their children in sportswear for a family-friendly atmosphere. The registration process is straightforward with online sign-ups beginning on January 1, 2026, and ending at midnight on December 22, 2025. On-site registrations will also be available from December 30 through December 31 at the Stadthalle Werl between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Additionally, certificates can be collected from the competition office after finishing their race.
