About the Event

The Armadillo Run is an annual event sponsored by the Rotary Club of Oldsmar/Eastlake celebrating 45 years of running in 2026. There are three races to choose from: The 1 mile Run-Walk-Fun and the popular and enjoyable 5K and 10K runs on a flat, fast, scenic certified courses with chip timing. There will be mile markers every mile and water stations on the course.

The 10K run starts at 7:15 am. The 5K run starts at 7:45 am. The 1 mile Run-Walk-Fun starts at 7:47 am.
All participants will be recognized with a special finisher's medal for their efforts
Early pre-registered runners are guaranteed to receive the colorful commemorative Armadillo Run t-shirt.
Awards to the top three in each age group for both 10K and 5K.
And we’re hosting a super post-race party with massages, entertainment, food, beer, and much, much more.

Don’t miss this chance to celebrate 45 years of outstanding racing! This year’s Armadillo Run is dedicated to the fight against Alzheimer’s, with 50% of all proceeds supporting Alzheimer’s research, while the remaining proceeds will benefit the Oldsmar Eastlake Rotary Club and their local community projects—so every step you take makes a difference close to home and beyond.

Oldsmar is a city in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 14,898. The Oldsmar name dates to April 12, 1916, when automobile pioneer Ransom E. Olds purchased 37,541 acres (151.92 km2) of land north of Tampa Bay to establish a planned community.
