On October 25, 2026, the TSV Berghausen hosts its annual race at the TSV-Halle and Hopfenbergstadion in Pfinztal. The event features several distance options to cater to a wide range of runners. The main attraction is the 10 km road race, which takes place on an almost flat asphalt course that winds through scenic routes around Am Stadion 6. Participants will enjoy two laps for the shorter 5 km run/walk category and one lap for those tackling the 2.7 km sprint event. Both courses are designed to be smooth and safe, offering a great opportunity for runners of all ages. For younger participants, there's an exciting addition this year: children born in 2019 have two options – a traditional 400m dash or a new 200m sprint on the Tartan track at Hopfenbergstadion. This versatile setup allows both U8 and U7 racers to compete based on their preference. Registration for the event is available online until Saturday, with an option to register onsite at TSV-Halle up until 9:30 AM on race day. Late registrants will incur a small fee of €2 for longer distances (10 km or 5 km) and €1 for shorter races such as the 400m or 200m sprints. Participants can collect their bib numbers at TSV-Halle from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM on race day. The event is well-organized, with a variety of start times ranging from 9:30 AM for the shorter distances up until 10:00 AM for the full 10 km course. Upon crossing the finish line, runners will be greeted by refreshments like tea and coffee in TSV-Halle. A buffet featuring cakes and cold drinks is also available to all participants post-race. The race concludes with an awards ceremony at noon where top three overall winners as well as age group champions are celebrated for their achievements.
