47th Muenster Metric Century Bicycle Rally

Experience the breathtaking landscapes of North Texas on Saturday, April 24, 2027, as you pedal through scenic routes that wind over rolling hills and paved roads. The course offers three distances: 100 kilometers (63 miles), 65 kilometers (40 miles), and 35 kilometers (22 miles). Prepare for challenging climbs and exhilarating descents that promise a memorable ride.
The event kicks off on Friday, April 23, from 9 AM to 6 PM at the Sacred Heart Community Center located at 706 North Main Street. On Saturday, packet pickup will be available from 7 AM to 8:30 AM at Heritage Hall situated at 1902 Weber Ranch Road in Muenster.
Finish your journey amidst refreshing refreshments and enjoy complimentary cold beers courtesy of the Muenster Jaycees beer trailer if you're one of the first 700 riders. The event also offers free admission into GermanFest held at Heritage Park, ensuring a lively atmosphere for all participants.
Please adhere to local traffic laws and wear a helmet as safety measures are paramount. Riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Rest stops will be strategically placed approximately every 10-15 miles along the route offering water, fruit, and other liquids. Medical aid is available throughout the course and at the finish line.
In case of medical emergencies, Muenster Memorial Hospital's staff and local doctors and nurses are on standby to assist you. Emergency ambulance service with qualified paramedics will also be present should any rider require immediate attention.
Weather conditions can vary in North Central Texas; temperatures typically average 72 degrees mid-afternoon, but wind plays a significant role during the event. Riders are advised to plan their route considering temperature, humidity, and wind factors before setting out.
Come rain or shine, the rally will proceed as scheduled. Rally starts at 9 AM sharp! The Bicycle Rally staff is not responsible for mailing Rally T-shirts to those who fail to participate in the ride.
