49ème Foulées Châteaulinoises

Foulées Châteaulinoises 2026 promises an evening of athletic excellence and community spirit on September 5th, starting at 7:30 PM. Located in the heart of Châteaulin (29), this event features a variety of races designed for all levels.
The main attraction is the official 10 km race, which offers runners a fast course with three loops plus an initial stretch. Ideal for those looking to set personal bests or compete seriously, the route is accurately measured and labeled every kilometer. The top five male and female finishers will receive prizes, adding extra motivation for competitors.
A highlight of the evening is the 2x5 km relay race in honor of Jo Paugam, a beloved figure in Châteaulin's sporting community. Open to teams from U16 (born in 2012-2013) and above, this event emphasizes camaraderie with categories for mixed-gender, all-male, or all-female teams. A dedicated zone ensures smooth exchanges between teammates, though safety regulations require each runner to cross the finish line individually.
For young athletes born in 2012-2013, a special race of nearly 4 kilometers awaits at the same venue. This event provides an opportunity for budding runners to showcase their skills and earn recognition as they compete against peers from across Brittany.
Participants are required to have either a valid FFA license or complete the PPS health questionnaire if over 18 years old; minors must present a medical clearance form signed by parents, along with a current FFA membership.
In addition to competitive races, the evening includes prize awards for top finishers and teams in various categories, as well as engaging activities such as raffles and giveaways for all registered runners.
