About the Event

On December 20, 2026, the picturesque town of Apiúna in Santa Catarina will host its fourth annual Christmas Run. This festive event aims to promote physical activity and social integration among participants while encouraging a healthy lifestyle and overall well-being.
The race starts at Avenida Quintino Bocaiúva, number 12, in the heart of downtown Apiúna. The main event features both a 5 km run and a challenging 10 km course for those seeking an extra push. Additionally, there is a relaxed 3 km walk option as well as hand bike races over similar distances to accommodate athletes with disabilities.
Participants can enjoy scenic views along the route while running through Apiúna's charming streets and neighborhoods. The event will also feature a fun kids' race up to 13 years old, complete with its own medal ceremony. All participants are encouraged to embrace the spirit of Christmas as they run or walk for health and community.
Registration closes on December 6, 2026, or when maximum capacity is reached. For more information, contact Esquadrão Adventure Eventos at (47) 9 8822-5547 or via email at esquadrao.oficialeventos@gmail.com.
The race will proceed regardless of weather conditions unless safety becomes a concern for participants and staff alike. Embrace the holiday spirit in Apiúna this December!
