The course itself is set through firm yet slightly soft forested trails, offering a mix of terrain that tests both endurance and spirit. Starting at the Wicomico Ranger Station on Sixty Foot Road, the 5K race route will take runners through winding paths before returning to the finish line in close proximity. Along the way, there are designated aid stations for water and refreshments, ensuring comfort throughout the journey. Participants should prepare for a typical February day with temperatures ranging from 1.1°C to 10°C, winds at around 14 km/h, and low humidity levels of about 67%.
