Starting at the Canggou Trail Plaza, Canggou Township, Wulong District, Chongqing, this race runs October 18 with an 800-runner cap across "Yehan Above the Clouds" 53KM (200 spots), "Yehan Daybreak" 32KM (400 spots), and "Yehan Riding the Waves" 13KM (200 spots). Registration opens July 15 at 10:00, with early-bird pricing through August 15.
The 53KM (52.8km actual, 2,890m gain/loss, ITRA 2 points) starts 7:00 with a 12-hour cutoff; the 32KM (32.0km, 1,860m gain/loss, ITRA 1 point) starts 8:30 with an 8-hour cutoff; the 13KM (12.8km, 662m gain/loss) starts 8:30 with a 4.5-hour cutoff.
This year's upgraded course links primeval forest, alpine meadow, canyon boardwalk, rocky ridgeline, old villages, and karst caves -- the full range of the region's karst landscape underfoot.
