Join us for an exhilarating winter run on December 20, 2026, featuring both a three-hour and six-hour race options. The event kicks off with the distribution of start materials at 9:30 AM sharp in Warendorf's Emspark. After collecting your gear, participants will gather for a brief orientation session starting at 10:45 AM, followed by group photos before the official start at 11:00 AM.
The race takes place on an undulating trail within the scenic Emspark park grounds, offering runners stunning views of snow-covered landscapes and crisp winter air. The course is primarily unpaved with a single loop measuring between four to six kilometers in length. Participants will experience varied terrain as they navigate through wooded areas and open fields.
For those competing in the longer distance event, be prepared for an endurance test over multiple loops. At each round completion, runners must cross off their current lap on a list using a marker at designated checkpoints. This ensures accurate tracking of completed rounds throughout the race duration.
Upon reaching the finish line or after three and six hours respectively, all participants will receive commemorative gifts celebrating their achievement regardless of pace or placement.
