About the Event

Ready, Set, Pizza! 🍕
It's the 2nd Annual 5K for Pizza: Seaside Heights!

Join us on Saturday, October 24, 2026 for a deliciously fun run (or walk!) along the scenic Seaside Heights Boardwalk. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just in it for the 'za, this flat and fast course is perfect for all paces. Then, cross the finish line and head straight to our post-race festival, where every participant is rewarded with some of the best local pizza around!

Registration
Each registration includes:
🍕 Participation in the cheesiest 5K around
🍕 Two (2) full-size slices of pizza
Craving more? You can add a third slice during the checkout process for a small extra charge.
(Heads up: extra slices won't be available for purchase after you complete registration or on race day!)

Additional Event Details
🍕 The event is USA Track & Field sanctioned & professionally chip timed
🍕 Top 3 overall men & top 3 overall women will receive prizes
🍕Best Dressed category!
Come in your favorite pizza attire & be entered to win a gift card to one of the local participating pizzerias
🍕Race themed t-shirts will be available as a registration add on at an additional cost

Seaside Heights is a borough with almost 3,000 residents (2019) in the New Jersey Shore region. Seaside Heights is a beach town on a barrier island that faces the Atlantic Ocean on the east and Barnegat Bay on the west. It is connected to the mainland community of Toms River via the Thomas A. Mathis Bridge over the bay. Seaside Park, directly to the south on the same island, is also covered in this article.
