About the Event

On Saturday, February 28, 2026 The Child Advocacy Center of Anderson County Tennessee is hosting a 5K Love Run in beautiful Norris, Tennessee. This race will benefit the Children in the Anderson County area.

The race will offer a Run Anywhere Virtual Run from 12:00 am February 14, 2026 to 11.:59 pm March 1, 2026. During that time frame, participants in this event will be able to run the 5K distance on the any course that they choose. The RaceJoy phone application will be available to the participants to monitor their distance ran and time used to cover the 5K distance.

This event will provide the RaceJoy application to the participants in the Virtual event and the time event. Information about the RaceJoy application setup and use is displayed on the homepage of the online registration site.

This is being timed by https://www.totalracesolutions.com/ and will be a Run and See Series Event

The race will start at 9:00 am at Norris Middle School. Sun Shine, Rain or Snow; You never know.

Following the Race there will be an abundance of Hot Chocolate for the young and for the young ones trapped in adult bodies.

All pre-registered runners are guaranteed a race day event T-Shirt; we do anticipate being able to provide a shirt to all participants.

There will be three aid & water stations on the 5K route.

Age Groups and Awards:
The First Male and First Female Finishers in the 5K timed event and the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will be awarded an Overall Award and will not be eligible for a age group award.
Individual Awards
The top 3 finishers per the following age groups for male and female (10 & under, 11-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-22, 23-25, 26-29, 30-33, 34-37, 38-41, 42-45, 46-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & up).

Team Awards will be given to the Winner of each Team Category
