5K Mullet Run Benefiting the Destin History and Fishing Museum

Join us for an unforgettable run as we celebrate our fourth annual Mullet Run/Walk 5k at Destin Brewery’s The Deck. Last year was packed with laughter, creativity, and incredible costumes, setting the stage for another fantastic event this time around.
The race kicks off on a sunny afternoon at 4PM, starting and finishing right in front of The Deck. Participants are encouraged to get creative with their mullet-inspired outfits—think outrageous, bold, and fun! Whether you’re rocking an over-the-top mullet wig or channeling your inner punk rocker, the sky's the limit when it comes to costumes.
This year’s event promises not only a spirited race but also a lively after-party where everyone can unwind with cold beers and tasty snacks provided by Destin Brewery. Food and drinks will be available for purchase as well, ensuring that there is something for every palate post-race.
Adding an extra layer of excitement, the Mullet Toss returns this year—a fan-favorite tradition from last year’s festivities. Participants who took part in previous editions are eagerly anticipating its return.

For those interested in participating, packet pickup begins at 2PM on race day. All ages are welcome to join the fun, with participants starting at age eight and up. Remember that this is a rain-or-shine event; refunds won't be given if cancellation occurs due to severe weather conditions like hurricanes or lightning strikes.
