5K por la Salud Sexual

In Puerto Rico, thousands of people still face barriers to accessing sexual and reproductive health services, reliable education, and safe spaces where they can talk about their bodies and well-being.

At Profamilias, we believe that access to sexual health is a fundamental right and a key element in building healthier, more informed, and freer communities.

The Profamilias 5K for Sexual Health was created as an initiative to bring the community together around movement, solidarity, and a collective commitment to health.

Every step taken in this race represents an opportunity to continue expanding access to healthcare services, sexual education, and community programs that positively impact the lives of young people, adults, and families across Puerto Rico. More than just a race, this event is a space to celebrate life, well-being, and the power of a community united for a cause.

By participating, individuals are not only running a 5K—they are supporting programs that promote prevention, access to evidence-based information, and the right of all people to make informed decisions about their bodies and health.

The 5K for Sexual and Reproductive Health is a fundraising initiative that aims to:

• Strengthen Profamilias Puerto Rico’s community sexual and reproductive education programs.
• Promote sexual well-being and physical activity in a safe and inclusive environment.
• Connect with partner organizations working to improve health and well-being across the island.
• Promote holistic health through physical activity and preventive education.
• Foster community unity through an inclusive and accessible event for all ages.
