Come join a really fun crew for the 5K RUN FOR THE DONUT on Saturday, February 13💖, 2027. Have a blast on a professionally chip-timed, flat, out-and-back with a loop 5K course that travels through a beautiful wooded neighborhood. Stay for the awards while you enjoy your coffee, donut and other breakfast items!
5K RUN FOR THE DONUT IS SANCTIONED BY THE MANASOTA TRACK CLUB AND IS IN THE 2027 RACING SERIES. Not an MTC member? Saturday Race Schedule:
Location: Starting and finishing at Lakeview Elementary School, 7299 Proctor Rd in Sarasota running through Bent Tree Woodlands II
All parking and indoor bathrooms are at the Sarasota Baptist Church across the street. Port a Potties available at Lakeview Elementary.
THIS RACE WILL HAPPEN RAIN OR SHINE. If there are unsafe conditions for runners and volunteers (for example, heavy rain, wind and lightning) the race will switch to a virtual race.

● Awesome Race Shirt - MUST REGISTER BY FRIDAY, JANUARY 29th TO BE GUARANTEED A SHIRT IN YOUR SELECTED SIZE! All shirts not claimed by the start of the race will be forfeited and be made available for size-swapping and giveaways.

● Chip Timing
● Award Levels- 6 deep in 17 age categories, Overall awards including male and female Overall, Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Masters and Veteran Grand Masters
● Child Care in the Kid Zone while you run

***We are making every effort to have this be a NO WASTE RACE. If you don't like your award or the shirt doesn't fit, you are welcome to exchange it for something else after the race. (Look for the Award Exchange table in the race village.) You can take a picture with your medal and then turn it back in, and we will reuse it next year.***
This will always be a small, family feel event - race capped at 500 registrants.
No refunds, all registrations are donations to keep growing YL in the Sarasota Community.
Awards will be available for two weeks at Molly's Boutique, 1872 Stickney Point Rd starting on Monday after the race if you are unable to stay for the ceremony.
This is a fundraiser for Young Life Sarasota. What is Young Life? Young Life is a Christian ministry that reaches out to middle school, high school, and college students in all 50 of the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world.
