5th Annual Arbor Day 5K Trail Race and Native Tree Giveaway

Join us for the annual 5K trail race through scenic woodland paths on January 16, 2027. This challenging yet rewarding course winds its way around native trees and lush greenery, offering runners stunning views of nature at its finest. The event not only celebrates a love for running but also supports local conservation efforts by partnering with Native Nursery to provide participants with free native tree saplings post-race.
Participants can expect well-marked trails that guide them through the heart of the forest, featuring varied terrain including gentle inclines and flat stretches. The race is designed to cater to runners of all skill levels, from casual joggers looking for a leisurely run in beautiful surroundings to competitive athletes seeking a personal best on challenging routes.
After crossing the finish line, racers are invited to stay at the event grounds where Native Nursery will be offering free native tree saplings. This unique element encourages participants not only to enjoy the beauty of nature during their race but also to contribute positively by taking home and planting trees that support local ecosystems. It's a wonderful opportunity for runners to make a lasting impact on their community while enjoying an invigorating run through some of the area’s most picturesque trails.
