5th Annual Barn to Bridge Fall Fest 5K

The 5th Annual Barn to Bridge Fall Fest 5K invites runners to explore the scenic Albany County Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail. This autumnal race begins at the Hilton Barn area of New Scotland and winds its way through picturesque landscapes, culminating in a finish line celebration across the bridge in Slingerlands.
Participants will experience a course that highlights the beauty of fall foliage while enjoying the camaraderie among fellow runners. The event not only celebrates fitness but also marks the start of Fall Fest at the Slingerlands trailhead with live music performances, food trucks offering delicious treats, and vendors providing unique merchandise. As you near the finish line, engage in fun games and activities that add to the festive atmosphere.
For your convenience, shuttle service will be available throughout the day to help runners navigate between parking areas and event locations. Every participant receives a commemorative t-shirt along with one free meal ticket at participating food trucks. The race also recognizes top performers with awards for both male and female overall winners, as well as medals for participants in the Kid's Run.
The 5K course map is available to help you plan your route and prepare for this exciting event. October being Domestic Violence Awareness Month, organizers encourage runners to contribute by donating a self-care item for survivors of domestic violence.
