5th Nishio Marathon (第5回にしおマラソン)

Nishio Marathon, held annually in Aichi Prefecture, is the only full marathon in the region where both male and female runners can compete together on public roads. This unique race offers participants an immersive experience through scenic routes that showcase Nishio's historical charm as a castle town, picturesque coastal views, serene riverside paths, and lush tea fields.

Registration fees vary based on category: Full Marathon (Nishio residents) costs ¥13,000; Full Marathon (general entry) is priced at ¥14,000. For shorter distances, the 5km run is available for adults at ¥4,500 and high school students can join for just ¥2,500. A family-friendly option includes a 2km race for all ages at ¥2,000.
Additional amenities like parking (+¥2,000) and souvenirs (+¥10,000) are also available to enhance the overall experience of runners and their supporters alike.
