6 at the Springs

Poland, Maine. World‑renowned for its magical healing waters. 6 at the Springs returns for its third year on Saturday, June 20, 2026, starting at 33 Poland Corner Road. A 6‑hour timed event on a flat 4‑mile loop along the historic rail trail at Waterhouse Brook. Run as many loops as you want — one loop, two loops, ten loops. Three start times: 8 AM, 9 AM, and 10 AM (all clocks stop at 2 PM). Free entry for youth 12 and under (paid entry required to be scored). Prizes awarded. • Poland is a small town in western Maine, known for Poland Spring — one of the oldest and most famous natural spring water brands in the United States
• The town has been a destination for "healing waters" for over 200 years
• Start/Finish: 33 Poland Corner Road — near the Waterhouse Brook rail trail
• The course runs on a historically registered rail trail at the base of Lower Range Pond
• Passes multiple watersheds and "possibly the most scenic beaver pond ever created"
• Wide, hard‑packed trail — flat, fast, PR‑friendly

Course — 4‑Mile Loop:

• Runs from the start to a turnaround in Mechanic Falls
• Crosses a scenic waterway before returning to start
• Totally flat — no significant elevation gain
• Suitable for speedsters and casual hikers alike
• Each loop is exactly 4 miles (no extra distance)
• 6 hours of running = up to 40+ miles if you're fast

Format — Three Start Times, One Clock:

• 8:00 AM start, 9:00 AM start, 10:00 AM start — choose what works for you
• All runners finish at 2:00 PM sharp
• If you start later, you have fewer than 6 hours to run
• Perfect for parents: let the kids settle in before starting your race
• You do NOT have to run the entire 6 hours — run as much or as little as you want

Youth Entry (12 & under):

• Free entry (no shirt included)
• If you want your child to receive a shirt and be eligible for scoring/prizes, you must pay for a full youth entry
• All paid entries include an event shirt (guarantee size by registering by May 16)
• Youth are welcome to walk or run — the course is family‑friendly
