Nestled in the breathtaking Valcellina, the ClautTrail 2026 is set to take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Organized by ASD Magredi Mountain Trail and supported by local associations along with FIASP APS-ETS from Mantua (Delegation of Pordenone), this trail running event offers a unique blend of natural beauty and challenging terrain.
The ClautTrail features three distinct races designed to cater to various levels of experience:
1. CTX20 – A 20km course with an elevation gain of 1,100m for solo runners.
2. CTX32 – An extended 32km route with a total climb of 2,000m also intended for individual participants.
3. CTC32 – Another 32km journey with the same elevation gain but designed as a team event (male, female or mixed pairs).
The races wind through rugged mountain paths, white roads, and mule tracks in an environment that is both scenic and demanding. Participants will encounter varied terrain, including technical sections where sure-footedness and endurance are key.
Race day starts and finishes in the heart of Claut at Piazza San Giorgio. The courses are clearly marked with colored ribbons and directional arrows to help runners navigate through the challenging yet rewarding landscape. It's highly recommended that participants use GPS devices or follow the race tracks provided by organizers, as no maps will be distributed.
All competitors must adhere strictly to the designated routes; any deviation beyond 100 meters without visible signage necessitates retracing steps until rejoining the course at its last confirmed point. Non-compliance with this rule can lead to disqualification and is entirely at the participant's own risk.
The event encourages a spirit of self-sufficiency, though medical support will be available along key sections of each route. Participants are advised to carry essential gear such as water bottles, snacks, and first aid supplies throughout their journey.
Registration for ClautTrail 2026 opens on July 16, 2026, with a maximum capacity of 350 runners.
