6ª CORRIDA DE REVEZAMENTO OKTOBERFEST

The 6th Oktoberfest Relay Run takes place on October 18, 2026, in Igrejinha/RS, starting at the Covered Street of Osvaldo Cruz in downtown. The race offers three modalities: solo runners complete a 5 km course with two laps around a 2.5 km circuit; teams of two cover a total distance of 10 kilometers as each member runs five kilometers; and quartets compete by having each athlete run one lap, totaling ten kilometers for the team.
Participants must be at least 14 years old and solo runners or relay teams should register online before October 4, 2026. The event has a cap of 600 participants in total. Solo racers start their journey with two laps around the scenic circuit while relay teams can choose between running as doubles or quartets.
The race begins at 7:30 AM and concludes by 8:45 AM, giving runners ample time to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere along Osvaldo Cruz Street. The course includes some elevation changes and obstacles that require careful navigation through public streets, making it essential for participants to familiarize themselves with the route beforehand.
Registration fees vary depending on when you sign up; early birds pay R$85 plus a website fee and must donate one kilogram of rice or beans per participant. Seniors receive a 50% discount on their entry price.
Upon completion, all athletes will be awarded an official event t-shirt, reusable bag, race number, disposable chip timing device, finisher medal, and athlete insurance coverage. Participants can collect their kits at the designated location in Igrejinha/RS either on October 17 or directly before the start of the race on October 18.
This year's edition promises to be a memorable celebration of sportsmanship and community spirit amid the festive backdrop of Oktoberfest traditions.
