About the Event

On November 15, 2026, the Chiara Abreu Sports Consultancy presents the 6th Annual Run and Walk Against Diabetes. This event aims to promote inclusion for individuals with diabetes by encouraging physical activity and raising awareness about health and quality of life improvements. Participants can choose between a 6-kilometer run or a more leisurely 3-kilometer walk, both starting at 6:30 AM from a location yet to be announced.
The race is open to all fitness levels and features hydration stations every two kilometers along the route. In addition to offering competitive categories for overall finishers as well as doctors and diabetic participants by gender and age groups, there will also be special awards for the top three in each category.
Registration fees range from R$110 to R$130 depending on when you sign up through Ticket Sports until November 5th or when all slots are filled. Each registrant receives a race shirt, timing chip (for runners), and other accessories as part of their kit.
Join this inspiring event that supports diabetes awareness while fostering community engagement and athletic achievement in the fight against chronic disease.
Participants should note there will be no on-site registration; kits must be picked up by the registered individual with photo ID matching the date of birth. The exact location for kit pickup will be communicated a week before race day, ensuring all runners are well-prepared to tackle this meaningful challenge come November 15th.
